Author of ‘The Witches’ Course Book’:
1. Your eBook is in the top three best sellers of Wyrdwood Publications, how do you feel about that?
I am very flattered that people are so interested in my work and I am happy to provide a simple and yet necessary service to beginners who are walking the Pagan path.
2. What prompted you to write a ‘course’ book rather than a ‘normal’ book?
There are many starter books out there telling a student the way of things, but I wanted to create an easy to follow course book where the student decided what was right for them.
3. What advice would you give a beginner who is interested in studying Paganism?
Read a lot on every subject that takes your interest, then think for yourself and find your own way. Make sure you find a Path that makes you happy and makes your soul sing!
4. Are you immersed in your local Pagan community in the U.K.?
Not as much as I used to be. I have found that the nearer to Crone age I get, the less I want to be involved in big groups. I prefer to have small intimate groups of friends doing something meaningful, than large groups who waste time arguing about everything. This is why I only take on one or two students at a time, rather than a class full.
5. I understand you are a Rune Reader, can you explain?
I use the Runes as a divination method and give readings. I started doing readings for my family and friends many years ago, then some of my students wanted a reading and it expanded from there. Now I offer my services online via my website: www.ravenblackmoor.webs.com My readings are strictly private and 100% individually created by me, especially for that person.
6. Do you have any new writing projects planned?
Yes, actually I do. At present I am working on my next eBook called ‘Seasons of Joy’. It’s about the four seasons and how we, as Pagans, should appreciate and enjoy the beauty of each season. It will include several practical ways of doing so.
7. So what is your favourite Season?
I am pleased to say I don’t have a favourite; I love each and every one for it’s own characteristics and beauty. We should not play favourites and enjoy each in it’s own right.
8. Tell us something that no one else knows about you.
If I had my time over again I would be an archaeologist, they get to visit some wonderful sites and dig up such interesting artefacts.
9. If you had one goal for the Pagan communities around the world, what would it be?
It would be for them all to find common ground and unite with some sort of council, similar in its make up as the UN.
10. As Wyrdwood Publications is an environmentally friendly publisher, what ‘green’ tip do you have for our readers?
I am a great believer of recycling items, especially the ones that most people do not think of like mobile phones and glasses.
